U.S. Stocks Edge Higher After Last Week’s Rally – The Wall Street Journal

U.S. stocks rose Monday, extending gains across all three major indexes, as investors continued to assess the pace of the economic recovery.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 246 points, or 0.9%, to 27356, and the S&P 500 gained 0.4%. The Nasdaq Composite, meanwhile, turned positive after tumbling in early trading. The technology-laden index rose 0.2%, on track to set its first record close since February.
